Sunday, October 3/Day 1 - North Dakota to Grand Island, NE

    Depart Bismarck and Jamestown as we travel to Grand Island for our overnight. A Welcome Dinner will be hosted this evening. (D)

Monday, October 4/Day 2 - Grand Island to Oklahoma City, OK
    We continue with our travel through Kansas and into Oklahoma. Our destination today is Oklahoma City.

Tuesday, October 5/Day 3 - Oklahoma City to Dallas
    This morning we visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum that honors the Oklahomans who lost their lives in the tragic bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in 1995. Bronze gates and a grassy bista provide a reverent setting. We continue today to Fort Worth, TX were we visit the Stockyards National Historic District. Tops on the list of the District's treasures are the Stockyards Hotel, the Livestock Exchange building, the Cowtown Coliseum, the Stockyards Museum, the Stockyards. (CB)

Wednesday, October 6/Day 4 - Dallas
    This morning we enjoy a city tour of Dallas as well as The Sixth Floor: JFK and the Memory of a Nation. This afternoon we travel to Southfork Ranch, mansion and grounds of the famous television series "Dallas." This evening we enjoy a Chuckwagon Dinner at the ranch. (CB, D)

Thursday, October 7/Day 5 - Dallas to San Antonio, TX
    This morning we depart for Austin. We visit the Lyndon Bains Johnson Library and Museum. the museum houses papers of the Johnson Presidency, sculptures of President and Mrs. Johnson, gifts from foreign heads of state, Johnson't 1968 Lincoln limousine and changing exhibits about American history and political memorabilia. Our destination today is San Antonio for the next two nights. (CB)

Friday, October 8/Day 6 - San Antonio, TX
    This morning we visit one of the five missions established by the Spanish between 1718 and 1731, now known as the Alamo. We also view the "Price of Freedom" a docudrama on the Alamo at the IMAX Theater. We enjoy the remainder of the afternoon and early evening at the Riverwalk. The Alamo and Riverwalk are within walking distance of our hotel to enjoy at your own pace today. (CB)

Saturday, October 9/Day 7 - San Antonio to Houston, TX
    This morning we travel to Houston. Upon arrival we visit Space Center Houston, home of Mission Control which offers a hands-on experience of space exploration. You may try on space helmets, touch a moon rock, use computers to simulate retrieving a satellite or participate in demonstrations of how astromauts function in space. After our tour we stop at the Kenah Lighthouse Shopping District for some free time before checking into our hotel. (CB)

Sunday, October 10/Day 8 - Houston/Galveston, TX
    We depart this morning for Galveston where we visit Moody Gardens. Our day at the gardens include the IMAX 3D Theatre. Aquarium Pyramid, Rainforest Pyramid, IAMX 4D Theatre and Discovery Pyramid. This afternoon we enjoy a Harbor Cruise of Galveston followed by some free time to explore the streets of downtown Galveston before returning to Houston this afternoon. (CB)

Monday, October 11/Day 9 - Houston to New Orleans, LA
    Today we travel to Louisiana. Our first stop is Baton Rouge where upon arrival we tour the State Capital Building. New Orleans is our home for the next two evenings. (CB)

Tuesday, October 12/Day 10 - New Orleans
    Mid-morning we depart for New Orleans School of Cooking. Here we learn the basics of Louisiana Cooking in a way you'll never forget. Fun is the primary ingredient! New Orleans experts will teach us specialties such as Gumbo, jambalaya and Pralines. This afternoon we enjoy time at the Aquarium of the Americas and IMAX Theatre. This evening we board the Creole Queen for a Jazz cruise and dinner. (CB, L, D)

Wednesday, October 13/Day 11 - New Orleans to Little Rock, AR
    Today we begin our journey north to Little Rock. We stop in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and visit one of the historic Antebellum homes before continuing to our destination today. (CB)

Thursday, October 14/Day 12 - Little Rock to Kansas City, MO
    Today we make our way through Arkansas and into Missouri for our overnight. (CB)

Friday, October 15/Day 13 - Kansas City to Sioux Falls, SD
    We begin our homeward journey today with our final overnight in Sioux Falls. A Farewell Dinner will be hosted this evening. (CB, D)

Saturday, October 16/Day 14 - Sioux Falls to North Dakota
    We depart for our home cities today after a wonderful adventure to Texas and Louisiana.
